Graduation is coming....

A, B, C's, and 1, 2, 3's...

"A"-Arrow of Light Requirement
Jacob's last Arrow of Light requirement was to build a campfire and learn about campfire safety. Family Night obliged... My neighbors, the Andertons, have built a fire pit in their back yard (which happens to be open to mine). We roasted hot dogs and smores. Love the outdoors!

"B" - Birthdays

Jacob turned 11 this last week. He is growing up so quickly. I don't mind that he has moved away from the traditional cake. Cookies 'n Cream pie is much easier.

"C" - Campfire
Jacob went on a camp-out with Micheal and Will this weekend. He had a great time! I have really dropped the ball when it comes to camping and my kids.  I have fond memories of camping as a child and with my "young" children. Now that they are easier to manage on a camp-out, I don't go.  My goal is to change that this summer. Bring it on!

"G" - Graduation
Meghan continues to work hard at her studies. Since she was in second grade, she has wanted to be a 2nd grade teacher. (I know, I have tried to convince her otherwise...) She has not once deviated from that decision.  She just graduated from Snow College with her Associates of Science. She plans to attend UVU in the fall to begin their teaching program.
"H"- Hershey Track Meet
This boy loves COMPETITION! You can see it in his face every time he throws a ball, shoots a hoop, runs a race, anything! He LOVES it. He works hard and gives all he has to be the best he can be. I admire his determination and dedication to life.

"L"- Luncheon
Only at Snow College do they put on a luncheon for ALL graduates AND their families. Barbecued turkey, no surprise there!

"P"-Prom
Jordan has always been a good example to his siblings. He has chosen good friends who keep his same standards. You can't underestimate the influence of good friends!

"R"- Roommates
We have all had them...for good or bad. Unfortunately, I have never kept in contact with any of my past roommates. For me, they are what made life in Rexburg, Idaho bearable. Meghan has had some great roommates. I don't doubt that she will hang on to those friendships for a long time. They made life for her bearable, yes, even in Ephraim, Utah!
 "S" - Summa Cum Laude
Way to go, Meghan! Girl, you're AMAZING!

"U" - Uhh, what are you doing?
Is there a need to be on the roof during Easter dinner?

"1" Good Family
I love these guys! What else can I say?

"2" Best Friends
It seems like yesterday that Jordan and Skyler were walking to the bus for Kindergarten together. Today, they are walking their dates down the Promenade as they wrap up their Senior year of high school.  Where does the time go?

"3" Amigos
With Meghan gone to college and Jordan working, our family of five has dwindled to "3" most of the time. This Easter, Meghan and Jordan did paper-route with their dad and didn't have the gumption to get up with us. So, we were left with three egg hunters this year.
Boy, times have changed!
