I found a few priceless treasures while Facebook stalking today...Meghan, don't judge me!

1-To die for rolls...
Without the kids here, I needed something to do, so I made these rolls. They are by far one of the best recipes I have ever made. Try them, you may like them!

2-Brightly Beams Our Father's Mercy-acapella...AMAZING!
This is one of my favorite hymns and the talent of these young men makes it easy to love.

August:
Once upon a time, there was this young prince who lived to play basketball, football, soccer, baseball...you name it. He was driven by the "need" to win. He put his heart and soul into every hit, kick, shot, etc.

One particular game, he was determined to score a goal. However, try as he may he could not get the ball between the posts! (Looked good trying, though!)

He quickly learned that he didn't have to be the only one to score a goal, but instead, if he could center it just right... his teammate could have the honors. With precision he executed this plan and shared in the glory of a team score. He was ecstatic, so much so, that he performed the sacred "fist-pump" in a royal expression of jubilation!

Goal or no goal, he had learned to work as a team! And he lived happily, ever after....at least until the next game.

August:
Happy 16th Birthday, Kyle.
We love you!
Sorry, this was the best picture of Kyle...
for me that's another story.
That's how much I love this boy!

No permit yet! No dates yet! I can handle this.

August:
Jordan and Avery were able to go with Grandma and Grandpa to Missouri this summer. It was an amazing experience for Jordan. He was excited about Harry Truman's house and the ice cream store but touched by Adam ondi aham and the monument to the three witnesses of the Book of Mormon. Thanks mom and dad for making this possible!
Found this amongst his pictures. Why am I not surprised?

July:
Washington has its beauty, but so does Utah. I often stare in awe at the beauty and majesty of these mountains that are right out my front door. Fall is coming quickly and the color change on the mountain will be breath-taking. I miss these mountains each time I leave and upon return they are a welcome sight and a reminder that I am "home."
