Im feeling a little bit sick today... Woke up with a 102 F fever, I love you all and hope you are all doing terrific!! This week I had the chance to talk in sacrament meeting about the Atonement. I bare testimony that the Atonement is necessary. The only way to find true happiness is by and through his loving sacrifice. I love you all and always keep you in my prayers!!

 Xicotepec-July 20

Thought I would write something real quick to everyone!! I hope you are all doing great!! I am doing super great here in Xicotepec de Juarez, Puebla. I love being a missionary so much! Everyday I realize that there is so much more to this life than the temporary things in the life! (Mosiah 2:41) The only true happiness that we can have in this life is when we are obedient to the commandments that the Lord gives us!! I strive everyday to be more obedient and to continually repent to be able to grow and strengthen my testimony everyday! I hope you can all look for opportunities everyday to be more obedient! I want you all to think especially about what you do on Sunday! The Sabbath Day is the most important day and we should always strive to keep it Holy! I hope you all can take the time to read and watch what Im going to attatch right here--> https://www.lds.org/church/news/are-you-ready-for-what-the-sabbath-offers?cid=HP_FR_7-17-2015_dOCS_fCNWS_xLIDyL1-A_&lang=eng Have a great week I love you all tons!!!

Xicotepec-July 13

Hey Mom!!
Good To hear from you!! It's been a pretty good week! Nothing super new or different, Yesterday we had interviews with President Egbert and it was pretty great!! Sister Egbert left a tub of paint and we have been painting all day today! Pretty busy but very quick day!! haha, I'm writing in the Internet with my fingers covered in white paint! haha!
I loved the Interview that I had with President Egbert yesterday because he told me a few things super important to me! He told me that as leaders, we have a greater responsibility of being an example to others. He told me that when we serve in leadership positions we live in a "glass house" which means we are always being watched and that we always need to be an example towards others. I feel like it has a lot to do with obedience and integrity. If others see that we are obedient, they will strive to be more obedient. When we are disobedient, others will use our example as an excuse to their disobedience. He also talked to me a lot about consecration. He told to to ponder and think a lot about consecration, so I was thinking that I would ask you what you think about consecration. Think about it a lot, and think about if you would be ready to live the law of consecration, if it were brought back right now in our lives.
Well, not a lot more that happened this week, I just have to finish up writing really fast because we spent all our time today painting!! https://www.lds.org/prophets-and-apostles/unto-all-the-world/president-eyring-testifies-of-jesus-christ?cid=HP_TH_7-9-2015_dPAAST_fPROP_xLIDyL1-C_&lang=eng Watch this video and think about what you can do to strengthen your testimony everyday to be able to testify like this!! I think that President Eyring is my favorite talk-giver just because of the emotion and love that he has for serving the Lord!!
I love you mom!! Have a great week at girls camp!!

Xicotepec-July 6, 2015

Hi Mom!!
Thanks for the everything mom!!! I love you soo much!! Believe it or not, nobody even mentioned 4th of July here! hehe, I think 16 of September is independence day here, so I'm sure we'll party then, haha. I really want to be super honest, this week I have been thinking about you a ton! but, not in a bad way! I have just been thinking a lot about what you have taught me in my life. I try to give all the credit to God for who I am and all the things that I have learned in my life, my its super hard to not give you any credit! I have never looked up to you so much as I have here in the mission. Who would have thought that serving a mission was what I needed to realize that!!? haha, I wish I would have realized a lot sooner!! I look up to you so much Mom! and I pray that you always stay firm in your faith, and always put the Lord in the very first place before everything!! I love hearing from you every week about how my brothers and sisters are doing! It always reminds me of the love that you have for each one of us! It sounds like you are all doing great!! I love hearing whats happening every week in Springville, Utah. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be here in the mission! I know that Christ lives, I know that He loves each and every one of us, I know that His love for us and Heavenly Fathers love for us is an infinite love. I can feel it everyday. If their love for me is even just a little bit more than the love that you have for me, I know that I could never be able to imagine how much they love me!! I love you so much Mom!! I'll make sure to get those emails sent out, but they might not be sent until next week!!
Love you!!
